French Creek State Park
Those who stayed at French Creek State Park say they really enjoyed it. The Hopewell Bakery is adjacent to the National Historic Site and near the National Road (Cumberland Road). It was very convenient for the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
It provides intermittent privacy between sites. Each loop has a group of sites near the beginning that offer full connections with grassy areas between sites. Further down the loops, there are electric fields just placed in the trees. Although it means less connection, more forested camping areas are preferred. There is a convenient water filling station and emptying station at the entrance of the campsite.

I am quoting for you the statement they made on their website (you can view it here).
Once an industrial complex for the fledgling United States of America, today French Creek State Park is an oasis for people and wildlife. Straddling the Schuylkill Highlands, the 7,730-acre park is the largest block of contiguous forest between Washington D.C. and New York City.
The forests, lakes, wetlands, and fields are a destination for the people of southeast Pennsylvania to hike, fish, camp, and bike.
